But let's rewind a bit – because the story of New Year's Eve at Big Pitcher, widely celebrated as the best pub in Bangalore, deserves to be told from the very beginning.
The golden glow of the last sunset on New Year's Eve 2024 melted into our brewpub, making it turn into a glittering wonderland. Crystal installations caught and diffused light across walls, whereas tactfully placed spotlights walk the line between elegance and electricity. The cold and crisp air cut through the room – precisely what our special collection of winter cocktails in Bangalore needed from our mixologists, who had spent months perfecting them.
Our culinary team really outdid themselves, turning our celebration into an impromptu food festival in Bangalore. The evening began with our signature appetizer parade – a fleet of servers emerging simultaneously with smoking dishes that set ablaze. Each floor of Big Pitcher played host to a different vibe. The ground floor was alive with rhythm, as melodies filled the air and set the tone for the night. On the second floor, the music grew more electrifying, creating an atmosphere that kept the energy high and the crowd moving. But it was the rooftop that truly captured everyone's attention, where the music blended effortlessly with the night sky, creating an intimate yet vibrant ambiance.
Our brewing tanks worked overtime for the celebration so our signature craft beers were at the best. Rich and complex yet somehow refreshing, it embodied everything we strive to achieve as one of the most innovative pubs in Bangalore. The cocktail menu told its own story.
The energy shifted as the clock approached midnight. The moment 2025 dawned, it was the fireworks that lit up the sky. It was not the planned entertainment nor food and drinks that eventually made that night special. It was the time in between - strangers who became friends over shared plates of wings, groups of friends that commanded whole tables and their laughter mingling with the music.
Our staff streamed through the crowds like stars as glasses were always full and plates never empty. The servers were parts of the celebration due to their keen sense to share in the joy of every toast and every smile.
